What if there are any concerns or abnormalities on my blood tests or physical examination?

  • AION Health Care is a routine health screening and optimisation service, and at present we do not provide emergency care or standard GP consultations for clients who are experiencing concerning symptoms. We do, however, provide medical screening and diagnostic services which can detect abnormalities in different health markers. We will provide medical advice based on the results of any examination findings and investigations for our clients.

  • We will clearly outline any abnormalities found or any concerns raised from investigations/examinations on your written results and recommendations report, and advise you to follow this up with your NHS GP if indicated.

  • You will receive a copy of your report which you can take to your NHS GP surgery to give information on any concerns raised. Your GP surgery can then follow up in accordance with current NICE guidance.

  • During any examination and/or blood test appointment if you advise us of any concerning symptoms you are having we will advise you to contact your NHS GP surgery to follow this up . If you give consent for us to do so, we can outline any concerning symptoms you have voiced to us in writing on your exam findings and investigation results report. If you wish to, you can then take your report to your NHS GP as a form of written information on your concerns.

  • If AION Health Care receives any seriously concerning investigation results for example very abnormal blood results we will contact you by telephone, and leave a voice message if you do not answer, along with contacting you via email to ensure any very concerning results are followed up in a timely manner. This will ensure your complete safety as our client.
